Discover Roman York through the city’s archaeology
Our guided walk will take you around key sites excavated by York Archaeological Trust. Under the spotlight are the temples, granaries, bathhouses and bread ovens of York’s civilian settlement, and includes sneak peeks at some of the latest finds from the YAT fieldwork team.
The tour also includes admission to Micklegate Bar, where several Roman small finds will be on display.

These tours are not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the city walls.
