York Photo Walks a great way to explore the sights, taking in some amazing locations and history along the way.

Our photowalks are about learning and developing your photography knowledge, whilst exploring York’s rich history, people, nature and architecture. The aim is to inspire you to stretch your creative legs when you are out and about with your camera.

We have a number of walks to choose from: The Museum Gardens, Kings square and The Shambles, or The Bar Walls and York Minster.

You can bring any camera whether it is a DSLR, Point and shoot, mobile or tablet camera. We want you to learn how to see creatively, encouraging you to see the world with an artistic eye.
