Understand the history of Agriculture and maybe re-live some memories
The Yorkshire Museum of Farming is located in Murton Park near York in England. It is housed on a grass field site of approximately 14 acres, and is the only museum in the district specifically dedicated to the subject of farming. Learn about the vital work of the Women’s Land Army during WW2 and see the farm machines that helped the country to victory. Listen to farmers speaking about their work, get up close to our animals. We have an exciting range of special events for all the family and are just 4 miles from the city centre with ample parking.
