Explore the garden where the Terry family lived. Five acres of garden rooms surround the former home of the Terry family (think Chocolate Orange). Discover fragrant borders, wildlife areas and glasshouse, alongside a more formal pond and lawn. York’s chocolate heritage is never far with views over the orchard to the old factory tower beyond the racecourse. Grab a takeaway on the terrace to add to your picnic or enjoy as you wander. Cared for by the National Trust, your visit helps to support the conservation work of the charity. Note: The house is used as a regional office for the National Trust and there is accessible parking only.
