First given to the National Trust by the wealthy and eccentric Industrialist Frank Green in 1930, Treasurer’s House is a quirky hidden gem tucked behind York Minster. The house boasts a stunning collection of fine antiques, art and furniture with layers of history to uncover on a tour. Don’t miss the house dressed for Christmas with a changing annual theme. Expect the unexpected in among the beautiful and decorative display.
The award-winning garden is a haven amidst the bustling city. The garden and café are free to enjoy on open days.
Cared for by the National Trust, your visit helps to support the conservation work of the charity.
