Amazing day out in York seeing 7 different hot spots - This was the perfect choice for us as a family. The York pass allowed us to visit numerous exhibitions and enjoy activities at a reduced cost. We spent one day... read more sight seeing and with the York Pass got to see the following attractions: The chocolate works (super informative hustory of chocolate with tasters), the York dungeons, (impressive immersion experience with great actors) took a river cruise (very relaxing, i nodded off), look around Fairfax house (beautifulexaple of a georgian property, guides are very friendly), enjoy York Minster (must see), take in the Yorvik reconstruction world (realistic models but you move around within electric cars so afain quite relaxing) and finally go on a witches city tour (odd but funny and informative) The savings we made were significant and although we packed a lot in between 9.30 and 18.45 the York pass meant we felt comfortable doing a whistle stop in a couple of the exhibitions. All in all, very worthwhile.
Save money with the York pass - Definitely worth the money, if like us you are planning on visiting a lot of attractions then get the York pass, it will save you money.
Great value, interesting visit. - York was a very enjoyable and interesting experienced, all in a very small area which made everything so much more convenient for us. The Pass worked really well both financially... read more and in terms of direction. It helped us get more from our visit than if we had drifted around the attractions.
Excellent value.
Great value - Really good value for money and it gave me ideas for attractions to see which were brilliant!
Brilliant - Absolutely brilliant. This is the second time using the York pass and it takes the hassle out of buying tickets om the day. Well worth it
Very good value and will be using it again - Very simple and easy to use. It covers many attractions that you may not necessarily be able to visit. I had a problem at the beginning of using it, the... read more app wouldn’t work, but it was quickly resolved, as I was given an old fashioned way of using the pass - a printout. We were able to visit 4 attractions, Chocolate Story, Jorvik Centre, Van Gogh Immersive Experience, and York Minster. By doing so we were able to get our money back. Very good value

Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore the city easily and save money at the same time!
Fantastic way to see York - We bought the 2-day York City Pass and it was brilliant value. Got us into all the main attractions quickly and without hassle, and it included things we hadn’t even... read more thought about doing (the river cruise was a lovely surprise!). The pass more than paid for itself after just a few visits.
It also makes planning your days so much easier as you don’t have to think about individual tickets. Just check if you need to pre-book certain places, but otherwise it’s very straightforward. Would definitely recommend if you’re planning to do a lot of sightseeing in York!
We got the two day pass and we squeezed in so much. We visited loads of attractions and enjoyed every one of them. We visited places we probably wouldn't... read more have paid full price for but thought we may as well go as it was paid for so this meant we looked at the fun stuff, skipped past the boring bits and didn't feel guilty about it!! The final bus route starts at about 4pm so careful not to expect one later. We tried to book ahead on most attractions but you don't really need to, and it can be done the same day if you want to be sure to get in. Our highlights were York Dungeon, Boat tour and Castle museum. We saved around £65 each over 2 days and had the best time.

We recently travelled to York for a few days away and bought a 2 day pass. When your buy the pass you select the month you want to use it... read more and it only becomes valid when it is first used. My advice would be to look at what you want to do, make notes on availability and then book depending on what you can fit in when. We managed most of the more expensive attractions apart from the river cruise which was cancelled due to high winds and water levels. Saved us quite a bit of money for a family of 3, plus we managed a few extra places that we hadn't booked. Definitely worth the price.
Worth every penny, saves a good crunch of money! We just got a 1 day pass. We didn't do as much as we wanted but still saved quite a bit
We bought a 3 day pass on sale and whilst we didn’t get to visit any of the attractions outside of York city, we definitely saved a lot compared to... read more purchasing individual attraction tickets plus Jorvik tickets are valid for 12 months so you can return for free. We planned about 10 days in advance and booked all the attractions you can pre-book - some of them you have to turn up eg City Sightseeing Bus and River Cruise but we had no problem getting on both of those. We also decided to visit the Van Gough Immersion experience on the spur of the moment and got in straight away - amazing experience highly recommend. We covered 10 city centre attractions over about 48 hours plus free lunch at Ask Italian. Some of the attractions we were glad we didn’t pay full price as whilst they were good their full price was quite expensive. We really enjoyed our visit to York and I can’t recommend the pass enough especially if you want to pack in as much sightseeing as you can. If driving I also recommend the York Commuter car park next to the railway museum which is much cheaper than NCP.
